Hi my dear friends,

First of all I want to wish you all a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving holiday, enjoy this day with your love ones and thanks so, so much for all the love and support you give to my work!

Today, I want to show you and easy and cute card I made with the So Suzy Stamp of the month for November , I had a lot fun making this card because I experimented with the Nuvo’s and I love this experiment, let me tell you what I did!

Below are the materials I used for my card

I started stamping my shells with versamark forming a tree, I also added the star from the So Suzy stamp of the month of June at the top, this will become my tree top.

Then I decorated my tree with my gelly roll stardust pen and some tiny stars from Martha Stewart, the cool part comes with the tree top. First I filled my star with Nuvo drops and then I sprinkled glitter on it, it looks so puffy and wonderful, I LOVE IT!!!!

For the bottom part I just wrote my sentiment with Nuvo drops on a printed piece of vellum, it adds a lot of dimension, I am thinking next time I will add glitter to the sentiment too, to see how it looks 🙂 This card looks very delicate and pretty on real life, hope you give it a try!

So Suzy Stamp of the Month November

10Nov

Hi There!!!

Today I want to share a very easy and cute card with the stamp of the Month for November of So Suzy Stamps, I love this kind of designs for many reasons, first because sometimes we don’t have 2 hours to make a card, second because it is easy to mail and third because the results are as cute as a card that you spend hours making it and you can even use this technique to make your own gift wrapping paper, don’t you think?

Below are some of the few materials you will need.

Start stamping your image with Versamark, I tried to stamp it randomly to make the impression of a patterned paper.

Then emboss it with silver embossing powder.

I added a dainty bow die cut from pretty Pink Posh and a sentiment written in vellum by me and attached it with ranger multi medium matte (I adore this adhesive) and voila! Super easy and fast card, hope you tried it!

Remember, from now until December 1st, Suzy is giving you a chance to catch up on all of the Quarters you may have missed. PLUS, everyone who has been AMAZING enough to have the entire 2016 SAM Collection will be receiving an EXTRA SPECIAL gift when our last SAM Stamps get sent out on the 10th of December. So Suzy Stamp of the Month- August Release

10Aug

IMG_0426AWL

Hi Lovelies!

Is Susy’s release today and the stamp of the month is this inspirational sentiment, I took the opportunity to try my brother ScanNcut with a new glitter paste that I am in LOVE with, this is a super simple CAS card and besides the time for the texture paste to dry, it doesn’t take that long to put together.

Materials you will need:

Bo Bunny Glitter Paste

Spatula

MFT Stamps Diagonal stencil

Doodle Bug Sprinkles

Brother ScanNCut

Versafine Black

White and red cardstock

So Suzy Stamp for the Month August

The ScanNcut has been an amazing addition to my craft room, it scans your stamped images and cut them either next to the line or with a border, I have saved so much money on dies since I got it, but it also brings some patterns like this cute anchor already saved on the machine, the possibilities are endless since you can also use SVG files with it, the first thing I did was to cut my anchor on the ScanNcut, I tried to center it on my card stock, I also cut another anchor with my silver glitter cardstock (there is never too much glitter 😉 that’s my motto for this card, lol!

Once it was cut, I placed my panel on my mat and tape it with washi to secure it while I was applying my glitter paste and applied the paste with the spatula (I know on this picture I have cleaned up all the mess already 🙂 ) it is important that you work quickly and wash your stencil and spatula as soon as you are done, because it can dried on your stencil fairly quick.

You will get this beautiful glitter embossed effect once you removed the stencil.

Don’t you think it looks fantastic! I want to buy now  all the colors of glitter paste, my excuse being the holiday season :D, after that I just adhered my panel to my card base, placed my anchor on the middle (you also can skip this step if you just want to have the silhouette, and stamped this great sentiment from So Susy and added to the bottom with a red cardstock as a frame. Look at all that glitter :)))

The theme for 2016 is Coastal so you will get a stamp in the mail that is “coastal themed” (beach, nautical). The program includes a great mixture of sentiments and images therefore at the end of the year, you will have a great collection of coordinating stamps.
